Position Overview:
A Rheumatologist is sought to become a vital part of a multi-location dermatology and skin cancer institute.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat rheumatic disorders including arthritis, back pain, and osteoporosis.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of symptoms and their impact on the immune system.
- Develop personalized treatment strategies for patients.
- Assess and manage joint-related ailments.
- Analyze laboratory results and advanced diagnostic tests.
- Order and interpret necessary laboratory examinations.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and imaging studies.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend physical therapy.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their conditions.
- Conduct initial patient evaluations, complete assessments, and document treatment plans while collaborating with primary care providers.
- Participate in weekly patient care discussions and relevant meetings.
- Utilize medical expertise to formulate, implement, and review treatment protocols.
- Oversee and mentor all clinical staff members.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of medical records while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Obtain necessary medical authorizations and referrals for procedures and tests.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the facility.
- Offer educational opportunities for students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare providers.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous medical education.
- Regularly meet with staff to address operational challenges and patient care matters.
- Manage compliance with hospital regulations.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships within the community.
- Participate in outreach initiatives to promote community health.
- Maintain a diverse patient caseload while adhering to established guidelines, including conducting physical exams and diagnostic procedures.
- Practice medicine within the boundaries of physician licensure.
- Build collaborative relationships with patients, colleagues, and external resources.
