Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Rheumatologist to become a vital part of our multi-office practice at the Dermatology Skin and Cancer Institute. This role involves the diagnosis and management of various rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, back pain, and osteoporosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, studying symptoms and evaluating their effects on the immune system.
  • Treatment Planning: Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret laboratory tests and advanced imaging scans to assess joint-related conditions.
  • Patient Care: Perform physical examinations, prescribe medications, and recommend physical therapy as needed.
  • Education: Provide counseling and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Professional Development: Attend weekly patient care conferences and participate in ongoing medical education to stay current with best practices.
  • Compliance: Maintain and update medical records, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Community Engagement: Develop and maintain professional relationships within the community and participate in outreach initiatives.
