Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first article checks to ensure all components match the bill-of-material description, are placed in the correct location, and have the correct polarity.
  • Repair defects in line and enter defect data into the quality control system.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and move/production tickets.
  • Communicate effectively with employees in all areas of manufacturing and support-related functions.
  • Work under direct supervision, with work direction coming from the immediate supervisor or, in their absence, from the group leader, shift leader, or other management.
  • Follow standardized and routine written directions for assigned work.
  • Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
