Accelerated Rad Tech-to-CT Tech Training Program

At HCA Florida Northside Hospital, we are committed to providing our colleagues with opportunities for growth and development. Our Accelerated Rad Tech-to-CT Tech Training Program is a 10-week training program designed to help Radiology Technologists advance their careers and become certified CT Technologists.

Program Details
  • 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA Florida Northside Hospital
  • Online didactic instruction and clinical experiences at the facility
  • All testing, fees, course, and training materials are included
  • Current ARRT credential is required for selection
Qualifications
  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist
