Senior Audit Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic audit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff throughout the audit process, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards during audits, maintaining a strong focus on risk management and control.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to each client, identifying areas of high risk and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Prepare and review working papers and financial statements for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all documentation is thorough and well-supported.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients effectively, providing clear and concise explanations of the results and implications.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong foundation in auditing principles and practices.
  • CPA eligible or certification preferred, with a strong understanding of auditing standards and compliance regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in external audit, with a proven track record of success and a strong understanding of audit methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards and compliance regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
