Medical Dosimetrist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in designing treatment plans and carrying out dose calculations based on the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed course of radiotherapy or brachytherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design treatment plans and perform dose calculations for radiotherapy and brachytherapy
• Record and manage data related to patient radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment
• Assist Radiation Therapists in simulation and setup verification of treatment delivery
• Collaborate with Medical Physicists to ensure quality management practices for patient treatment and equipment use

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of dosimetry experience
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited dosimetry program or Licensed Radiation Therapist/Radiological Technician with additional dosimetry training
• ARRT Certified or Board eligible with an active registration or foreign equivalent
• Completed at least 36 months of clinical medical dosimetry experience under the direction of a certified medical dosimetrist or medical physicist
• Completed 24 CE credits approved by the MDCB during 36 months of clinical experience
