Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the venue, including thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, guest areas, and all fixtures.
  • Ensure workspaces are organized and tidy, assisting with various cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Respond to urgent repair needs for production equipment during events and conduct routine maintenance as scheduled.
  • Engage in sustainability initiatives by participating in waste management and recycling programs, educating guests on our environmental efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members post-event to secure the venue, including collecting recyclables and storing equipment properly.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks and repairs, utilizing a range of tools and equipment.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals and work orders to effectively carry out required services.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair components, and conduct necessary adjustments.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on machinery and facilities.
  • Execute various plumbing and carpentry tasks as required.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining orderly work areas.
  • Report any operational issues or unusual circumstances to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience in maintenance.
  • An associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is advantageous.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • This position requires physical stamina, including frequent walking, climbing, and the ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs.
