Job Summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in the development and testing of radar systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the most efficient and economical method of production testing, planning and writing test specifications, and adapting or modifying existing test equipment to meet test specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the most efficient and economical method of production testing
  • Plan and write test specifications, methods, and instructions
  • Adapt or modify existing test equipment to meet test specification requirements
  • Estimate the cost of testing and test equipment to ensure quality performance of manufactured electronic equipment and components

Requirements

  • Experience with passive and solid-state RF components, digital board layout, schematic design, test fixture design, and assembly
  • Experience with microwave RF measurement and troubleshooting techniques, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Noise Figure Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, digital signal probing, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to develop software with MATLAB
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to take on leadership roles and manage test projects efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Degree in a technical discipline or AS Degree in a technical discipline and equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with RF measurements, including small signal and high power gain, noise figure, S-parameters, and digital measurements
  • Experience with Visual Basic, MATLAB, and/or Python programming language

Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule
Non-standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader.
