Job Summary

The Baltimore City Public School System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Operations Support Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of school operations and the ability to provide strategic guidance and support to all schools.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief of Schools to develop and implement district policies and guidelines, monitor school performance, and provide technical assistance to schools as needed.

  • Collaborate with school-based and district teams to develop and implement school safety plans
  • Provide support and guidance to leadership teams regarding daily school-based functions
  • Develop and manage collaborative communications and working relationships with schools and City Schools central office departments

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in education, business, or a related field, and a valid Maryland State Department of Education Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) with Administrator I preferred but not required. They will also have demonstrated experience in complex problem-solving, knowledge of strategies that impact positive student achievement, and proficiency in project management, strategic planning, and organizational and operational skills.
