Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform all operations to ensure continual operation of equipment and facility with a strong emphasis on CNC service maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a troubleshooter and repair equipment and building utilities, resolving problems or referring them to the appropriate individual.
  • Perform preventive maintenance with work orders on manual and automated machinery, including CNC lathes, millers, saws, grinding and honing equipment.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns of equipment to minimize production loss.
  • Inspect equipment to evaluate conditions that could lead to production breakdowns or unsafe conditions, reporting problems to supervision.
  • Train mechanics in operations and processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and reporting safety incidents to supervisor.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to work processes and contribute to the 5 S program in the work area.
  • Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers and contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Basic CNC programming, basic mathematics, blueprint reading, and calibrating instruments.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends to meet customer needs.
