Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Utilization Management Pre-Authorization team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the UM Pre-Authorization team to ensure requests are processed in a consistent and timely manner while observing regulatory guidelines.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Pre-Authorization team to include timely response and appropriate evaluation of referral reviews, correct selection of criteria, accurate prep to the UM Physician reviewer when indicated, timely verbal and written documentation, and completion of the file.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of services.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of clinical experience required.
  • Three to five years of Utilization Management experience required.
  • One to three years of charge/lead/supervisory/management experience required.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  • CA RN License required.
