About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director of Corporate Development to join our team at Customers Bank. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities for the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with top executives to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and success.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform decision-making and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and present strategic plans and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify key market trends and competitors to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Monitor and track progress of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Identify and address potential risks and challenges in executing strategic plans.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to support their professional development.
Requirements
  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to draw conclusions from various data sources and analyze data objectively while applying logical thought and proffering solutions.
  • Collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams and maturity to interact with senior executives across departments.
Technology Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and software (e.g., Microstrategies, Tableau).
  • Understanding of CRM systems and other business strategy-related technologies.
  • Familiarity with FIS IBS, Payplus and Finzly systems a plus.
