Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust automation solutions to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and application services.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Helm Charts, or similar.
  • Knowledge of storage technologies, including NFS, JDFS, Ceph, and Object Storage.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, Open Stack, or Azure Stack.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving performance issues.
  • Eligible for TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with orchestration tools, including Kubernetes.
  • Collaborative spirit and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Coding experience beyond simple scripting.
  • Secret or higher clearance.
