Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

At Commserve Technologies Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, architect, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java or.NET.
  • Develop strong technical skills in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Chef, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Implement server, storage, networking, and well-architected frameworks (WAF) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Design and implement scripts for process automation, performance metrics dashboard, and monitoring using PowerShell or Python languages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to debug complex technical issues independently and drive resolution.
  • Document incidents, requests, and change/release management processes using JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Develop working knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, warehousing, machine learning, and data analytics concepts using AWS data lakes and Snowflake.
  • Implement software testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, and Pytest.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in application administration.
  • Strong communication skills, including scrum master responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular working hours, including on-call schedules.
  • ON-SITE in San Diego, 4 days a week minimum.
  • EKS Administration, Kubernetes Certification, DevOps Certification, and AWS Associate Certification.
  • Experience working with Splunk Log Indexing, creating usage metrics dashboards, and Datadog APM Dashboards.
  • Experience in automation of manual tasks or creating self-service utilities using software such as Robot Framework.
