We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Cook to join our culinary team at the Rittenhouse Hotel. As a Banquet Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of cuisine and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items according to recipes and standards, taking pride in the excellence and quality of cuisine.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability practices and safe food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless execution of banquets and events.
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food for pick up by servers or delivery to guests.
  • Secure and store food items properly, adhering to all inventory management procedures.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous culinary experience or equivalent training required.
  • Department of Health Sanitation certificate may be required.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and reach.
