Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Tutor to join our team at Mount Mary University. As a Chemistry Tutor, you will provide academic support to students in chemistry courses, including general chemistry, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tutor students in chemistry courses, both in-person and online
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement tutoring materials and services
  • Help students identify their strengths and skills to create personalized study plans
  • Participate in outreach activities and campus events to promote academic support services
  • Assist in the evaluation and maintenance of tutoring materials and services
  • Work collaboratively with the Student Success Center team to provide comprehensive support to students
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in college-level tutoring, preferably in chemistry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
