Chemistry Tutor

Mount Mary University is seeking a highly qualified Professional Tutor of Chemistry to provide academic support to students in the chemistry sequence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Tutor students in general chemistry, biochemistry, and organic chemistry
- Collaborate with faculty to develop course-specific learning outcomes
- Help students identify their strengths and skills to create study plans and academic goals
- Participate in outreach activities and campus events
- Assist in maintaining and evaluating tutoring materials and services
- Collaborate with the Student Success Center team
- Bachelor of Science required, Master's degree preferred
- Experience with college-level tutoring and online delivery
- Ability to tutor entry-level biology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
Varying workflow with high workload times of the year
