About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team in Kirkland, WA. As a key member of our Structural Engineering, Industrial, and Water Infrastructure projects, you will lead and work on various projects, leveraging your expertise in control system engineering, SCADA systems, and PLC experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement I&C design packages for power plants, including instrument selection, P&ID development, and control logic design.
  • Supervise and manage engineering and project budgets related to the I&C effort on a project.
  • Plan work schedules of team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide assistance in control system engineering functions, including HMI graphics design, control logic development, and system configuration.
  • Develop project-specific I&C equipment specifications based on project scope documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years of municipal water/wastewater treatment or water infrastructure engineering experience or equivalent.
  • Control system engineering experience, including SCADA systems, Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience.
  • General knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with telecommunication system design and control valve and flow meter sizing and specification.

Expected compensation range is between $107K - $140K annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
