Job Summary:
- Step into the role of Maintenance Technician III, where your expertise will be essential in maintaining the operational efficiency of cutting-edge bakery machinery. Engage in intricate technical repairs and proactive maintenance, addressing challenges effectively to reduce downtime. This position allows you to demonstrate your skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems, contributing to a vibrant and fast-paced work environment.
Job Duties:
- Execute intricate technical repairs and preventive maintenance on bakery machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems.
- Diagnose issues, perform repairs, install new components, and overhaul machinery to guarantee peak performance.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of repaired machinery and maintain precise records within the computerized maintenance management system.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and prioritize safety in all operational activities.
- Manage the work order queue, carry out assigned preventive and corrective tasks, and generate follow-up notifications as necessary.
- Identify and communicate the criticality of equipment and potential risks to supervisors and management.
- Collaborate with planners and parts coordinators to ensure the timely availability of necessary materials.
- Review material kits in advance to confirm preparedness for scheduled work tasks.
- Maintain a flexible approach and adapt to frequent changes within the production environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of experience in instrumentation, measurement, control systems, electronics, mechanical, and/or electrical experience in industrial and manufacturing machinery, or 6 years of equivalent experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting, troubleshooting PLC software, I/O, field devices, and working with mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in at least three of the following areas: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and food manufacturing process controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documents.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
