Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GPU Software Engineer for Machine Learning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing software for machine learning models on the latest generation of devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate machine learning operations for inference and training on the GPU.
- Implement the latest machine learning models, including LLMs and LVMs.
- Write samples and documentation.
- Implement interfaces to machine learning frameworks.
- Develop unit tests.
- Collaborate with partners, external developers, and OEMs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Knowledge of machine learning theory.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Familiarity with GPGPU APIs such as CUDA or OpenCL.
Preferred Skills
- Device driver development, including GPU or CPU.
- Programming experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL ES/Vulkan/DX11/DX12.
- Knowledge of GPGPU application development, including mathematical operations and image processing.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $98,900 - $148,300 per year, depending on location and qualifications. Qualcomm offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
