Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled GPU Software Engineer, Staff to join our team at Qualcomm. As a member of our group, you will play a critical role in developing software for the latest Machine Learning models on next-generation devices.

The successful candidate will have experience with graphics programming languages such as C/C++ and a strong understanding of Machine Learning Theory. Familiarity with a Deep Learning Framework like PyTorch and a GPGPU API like CUDA or OpenCL is also desirable.

Salary: $139,000 - $208,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop device drivers, including GPU or CPU, and optimize Adreno GPU drivers for standard APIs.
  • Implement the latest Machine Learning models, including LLMs and LVMs, and accelerate Machine Learning operations for inference and training on the GPU.
  • Collaborate with hardware designers to drive improvements in hardware and hardware/software interfaces.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, and 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning Theory, familiarity with a Deep Learning Framework, and experience with graphics programming languages.
