- Detect and resolve basic order entry and prescribing problems

- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications
- Documentation and Compliance
- Comply with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication orders and dispensing
- Project Management and Quality Improvement
- Develop and implement projects to improve medication management and patient safety
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and address quality improvement opportunities
- Education and Training
- Provide education and training to patients and healthcare staff on medication management and safety
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance pharmacy staff knowledge and skills
- Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
- Experience
- 0-3 years of pharmacy practice experience
- Licensure
- Registered as a licensed pharmacist in the State of Connecticut
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
