Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Clinical Healthcare Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Experience:
- Engage with patients to understand their medication needs and provide personalized guidance on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive and joyful experience.
- Connect with patients to anticipate their needs and proactively offer services, promoting the shift from transactional to interpersonal pharmacy services.
- Operations:
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions, and refer to medical providers as needed to ensure medication is taken correctly.
- Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies, and standards, and assist the pharmacy manager in establishing procedures for efficient workflow.
- People & Performance Management:
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training, and reinforce the direction of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching and providing constructive feedback.
- Promote teamwork and motivate team members by establishing expectations, monitoring progress, and fostering a shared vision.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
