We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Lighting Services Inc. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the architectural and entertainment lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to clients in the field
  • Commission and repair lighting systems and equipment at customer sites
  • Train clients on the operation of installed equipment
  • Deliver turn-on reports, corrected drawings, expense reports, and other paperwork as needed
  • Identify site issues, provide remedial information or equipment to address the issue, and create/implement follow-up steps as necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Significant experience with mains voltage and 3-phase electricity
  • Strong background in architectural and/or theatrical lighting systems, including basic understanding of lighting system layouts and wiring
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel
  • Ability to work on a construction site and use hand tools, power tools, and electronic measuring devices
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
