Job Overview

Banner Quality Management Inc. (BQMI) is seeking a skilled Financial Planning Analyst to provide comprehensive financial support for our government client. The ideal candidate will serve as a financial consultant to various management levels, advising on the financial ramifications of policy changes, workload adjustments, and execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing robust financial planning processes and structures.
  • Monitoring fund execution and preparing detailed financial reports.
  • Engaging in regular discussions regarding funding challenges and task requirements.
  • Conducting data analysis to inform financial strategies and planning.
  • Utilizing historical data for trend analysis and cost identification.
  • Keeping management informed of relevant policy and regulatory changes.
  • Formulating budgets and operational plans based on program documentation.
  • Participating in meetings to support financial teams in evaluating practices and recommending improvements.
  • Managing fund allocation, expenditure reviews, and data tracking.
  • Utilizing ERP systems for various financial tasks.
Essential Skills:

The candidate must possess:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD Clearance.
  • Experience in data gathering and financial strategy development.
  • Strong analytical skills for trend analysis and cost identification.
  • Proficiency in managing funds and reviewing expenditures.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Travel System.
Qualifications:

Applicants should have:

  • A high school diploma.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A financial background with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
