Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Support Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and retrieving radiology files and result reports, providing receptionist duties at the desk and telephone, and ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and files using the Radiology Information System
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and hospital staff
  • Retrieve and print radiology studies as requested by physicians and patients
  • Prepare materials for subpoenas and Tumor Board meetings
  • Act as a liaison between patients and technical staff
  • Track patient orders and coordinate with the Admitting department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of clerical or secretarial experience in a healthcare setting
  • Basic to intermediate skill in word processing and database management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to learn radiology information systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
