Artificial Intelligence Patent Attorney or Agent

Practice Area: Electronics & Software

Kilpatrick Townsend's dedicated team in Electronics & Software is in search of a USPTO-registered Attorney or Patent Agent possessing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Cloud Computing. This role may also encompass patent-related work involving image processing, database management, access control, natural language processing/understanding (NLP/NLU), and autonomous technologies.

The ideal applicant must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technical writing is advantageous. Candidates should be prepared to provide academic transcripts and writing samples upon request. This position is particularly suitable for a Patent Agent with exceptional writing capabilities and an interest in transitioning to an Attorney role. Preference will be given to Patent Attorney candidates who hold the requisite state bar for their designated office location.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies across a diverse range of technical sectors.

Salary Expectations: $150,000-$250,000 (Attorney) and $125,000-$195,000 (Patent Agent).
