Key Responsibilities

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities. This includes:

  • Organizing and managing complex events such as meetings, social gatherings, and lifestyle programs with integrity and professionalism.
  • Collaborating with various teams to develop engaging programs that comply with safety regulations and meet the diverse needs of residents.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the Front Desk and Concierge services, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to maintain high standards of service excellence.
  • Maintaining accurate records of events, activities, and resident participation to inform future programming.
  • Coordinating logistics for room rentals and ensuring all requirements are met for successful events.
  • Engaging with residents to gather feedback and suggestions for new activities, fostering a sense of community involvement.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a related field, including at least one year in social or recreational programming.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate scheduled activities.

The Lifestyle Director will interact with residents and staff in a lively environment, especially during events.
