Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring the production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Manufacturing Equipment: Safely operate all manufacturing equipment to produce products and follow proper procedures for packaging.
  • Material Handling: Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
  • Meet Production Standards: Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.
  • Maintain Clean Work Area: Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
  • Quality and Safety: Responsible for safety and quality throughout production, including cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
  • Teamwork: Assist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operators and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, understand plant safety guidelines, and pass all required safety training.
  • Communication: Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and troubleshoot problems.
  • Teamwork: Must work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Plant facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.
  • Production Volume: Line production is constant flow approximately 35 to 39 drums an hour.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled shift, walking during this standing time, repetitive turning & twisting, reaching above shoulders, and usage of hands and fingers to perform job function.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift as needed up to 35lbs during scheduled shift and consistently up to 20lbs for full shift to move drum through and complete manufacturing process.
  • Work Schedule: Shifts can be scheduled 5 days consecutive Monday to Friday or alternating 2-week rotation any of the production working days.
