Job Summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group is seeking a skilled Rotor Cell Assembler to join our team. As a Rotor Cell Assembler, you will be responsible for the quality of product and workmanship, and participation in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble machined parts into a precision aircraft according to prescribed tests and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical and visual inspection operations to determine conformance of products to specifications.
  • Utilize work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and/or other schematics to assemble, disassemble, and replace parts/components as required.
  • Measure parts to determine specified tolerance and inspect parts and assemblies using various test equipment and tools.
  • Operate various power equipment, such as hydraulic and drill presses, torque wrenches, drills, taps, reams, countersinks, functional gages, and spot faces for assembly purposes.
  • Position and align parts, bolt, screw, and rivet parts together, lap and hone high tolerance features, and mark identifying information on parts.
  • Perform inspection functions, including visual inspection, part testing, functional performance test of the assembled unit, and other associated duties of a certified operator.
  • Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies, package the final assembly for shipping or storage, and ensure timely and proper completion of paperwork on all work assigned and performed.
  • Resolve production problems with other Rotor Cell assemblers, supervision, and other technical and planning resources.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school experience
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing operations experience
  • Mechanical skills/abilities
