Position Overview
The Precision Rotor Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality and craftsmanship while actively engaging in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, quality, and operational efficiency.

This position involves comprehensive responsibilities across various assembly processes, including but not limited to finishing, blasting, mixing, metal processing, part marking, and product assembly. The technician will conduct both mechanical and visual inspections to verify product conformity to specifications, and will be involved in assembly, painting, coating, testing, tuning, and inspection of precision aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all assigned tasks in alignment with company protocols.
  • Maintain a meticulous focus on detail to meet the company's and customers' quality, craftsmanship, and production standards.
  • Utilize work instructions, blueprints, schematics, and drawings for assembly and disassembly of components as necessary.
  • Measure components to verify compliance with specified tolerances and inspect parts and assemblies using various testing equipment and tools.
  • Operate a range of power tools, including hydraulic presses, drill presses, torque wrenches, and functional gauges for assembly tasks.
  • Position and align components accurately, fastening them together using bolts, screws, and rivets. Hone and lap high-tolerance features, marking components with identifying information.
  • Conduct inspection duties, including visual checks, performance testing of assembled units, and other responsibilities of a certified operator, ensuring final product inspection is thorough.
  • Engage in painting and related operations, including part marking and applying protective coatings, while cleaning and lubricating components as needed.
  • Package final assemblies for shipping or storage efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation for all assigned tasks in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians, supervisors, and technical resources to resolve production challenges.
  • Promote a clean and organized work environment, moving materials or components as required.
  • Accurately complete labor accounting, inventory, and stockroom control transactions.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in trade school
1-2 years of experience in manufacturing operations
Mechanical skills and abilities.
