Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on AM shifts. As a Licensed Nursing Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced nursing staff, participate in ongoing training and development programs, and contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports.
  • Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
  • Facilitate medical diagnostic and clinical tests, as ordered by the Physician/NP.
  • Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.

Requirements:

  • PASS THE NATIONAL COUNCIL LICENSURE EXAMINATION OR NCLEX-RN OR NCLEX-PN.
  • CURRENT STATE LICENSURE AS A REGISTERED NURSE OR LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE AND BLS CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION BLS/CPR).
  • ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH PATIENTS, FAMILIES, PHYSICIANS/NURSE PRACTITIONERS/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, OTHER STAFF, AND HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL TEAM.
  • BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WITH EHR.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
