We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. This part-time position is located at our Huntley clinic and requires 28 hours of work per week.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide a high level of support to patients and company representatives. Responsibilities will include greeting patients, obtaining required information, performing patient registration, and coordinating scheduling of outside testing.
The Patient Services Representative will also be responsible for answering phone calls, directing and documenting patient calls, and serving as a liaison between patients and the practice. Additionally, this role will involve performing daily reconciliation reports, pulling charts, and filing completed patient charts.
Qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting. Medical office coding experience and previous physician office experience are preferred.
