Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Utility Lead to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and maintenance in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise custodians in proper cleaning techniques and ABM procedures
  • Perform cleaning routines in an excellent manner and drive safe work habits
  • Identify and submit work orders, respond promptly to alarm calls, and correspond daily with the night supervisor
  • Provide immediate response to emergency requests, perform quality control inspections, and coordinate substitutes for absent custodians
  • Supervise, inspect, and perform tag work, following the directions of ABM supervisors and managers
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous lead experience
  • Excellent attendance, self-starter with strong initiative, and good floor refinishing and carpet cleaning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public, clients, and employees, and a solid history of building security procedures
  • History of safe work practices, willingness to travel out of state as needed, and ability to participate in training requirements as directed by ABM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience and one (1) year of similar work experience
Compensation and Benefits

The pay for this position is $20 per hour, and you will receive Union Benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and a pension plan.

This is a Union position that will provide benefits through the Union, and the pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
