Clinical Nurse Specialist

The CAMC Health System is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse 2 to join their team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the achievement of departmental goals.
Job SummaryDemonstrate your clinical expertise by utilizing critical thinking to identify and meet patient needs. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive patient outcomes through effective communication and leadership. Participate in unit quality improvement/research projects to drive excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities- Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care, managing complex patients with minimal assistance.
- Knowledge and Skills: Identify areas for personal growth and development to maintain competence in your area of practice. Perform advanced skills independently and assist others in developing their skills.
- Professional Relationships/Leadership: Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Quality Improvement/Research: Expand your understanding of research principles and apply them to nursing practice to improve patient care.
- Associate's Degree (Required): Experience: 1 Year of RN experience; Substitution: May substitute Formal Nursing Program for the Associate Degree
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred but not required
- Credentials: Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required); Registered Nurse (Required)
Days: Work Monday - Friday, day shifts. Memorial Hospital: Charleston, WV
Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
