· Guides staff on the proper handling and preservation of items that are received, stored, and dispatched; provides insights on equipment usage for handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping inventory; addresses related challenges.

· Analyzes inventory records and suggests corrective measures for reported non-usable, slow-moving, and surplus stock.

· Reviews documentation for accuracy and adherence to established protocols to assess stock level adequacy.

· Organizes schedules for special and routine inventory counts.

· Investigates discrepancies between inventory records and stock control documentation, recommending solutions to rectify these issues.

· Establishes work protocols, prepares schedules, and streamlines workflow.

· Provides both written and verbal instructions.

· Allocates responsibilities and evaluates work for precision, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.

· Analyzes and standardizes processes to enhance the efficiency of team members.

· Fosters a collaborative work environment and addresses employee grievances.

· Rectifies errors and resolves complaints.

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

Supervisory Duties:

· Directly supervises 4-12 subordinate managers who oversee departmental supervisors, collectively managing a team of employees across various departments; accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and assessment of these units.

· Executes managerial duties in line with the organization's policies and relevant laws. Responsibilities encompass employee training, work planning, task delegation, performance evaluation, employee recognition and discipline, addressing concerns, designing and implementing management and operational protocols, and general problem-solving.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution; or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

· Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is advantageous.

  • Experience in food distribution is essential.
