Job Description

As a Communications Content Developer at St. Albans School, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for digital and print publications. Your role will involve thinking creatively about how to share the stories of our school, working independently to produce content, and planning and creating schedules for gathering and sharing information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take photos and create videos of school activities.
  • Produce and post content for social media.
  • Write brief news items for the school's website and other publications.
  • Create weekly newsletter for parents.
  • Find and share stories that will resonate with various constituencies.
  • Edit, copyedit, and proofread documents.

Requirements:

  • Three years of copy writing experience.
  • Completed Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference for 3-5 years substantial copy writing experience.
  • Able photographer and videographer.
  • Creative storyteller.
  • Compelling writer with excellent proofreading and copyediting skills.
