Letter of Credit Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Letter of Credit Analyst to support our middle office function. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade credit services and be able to review and interpret reimbursement agreements, credit agreements, and credit applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, review, and system input of assigned new deals and amendments
  • Ensure banks' books accurately reflect the intentions of the credit agreement and credit approval
  • Accurately issue, process, and book standby letters of credit
  • Provide lending services to customers and maintain accurate data
  • Review and interpret reimbursement agreements, credit agreements, and approved credit applications
  • Complete assigned projects to address workflow or business-related matters
  • Adhere to internal and external regulatory policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Ability to review and interpret reimbursement agreements, credit agreements, and credit applications
  • Ability to issue Standby LCs in SWIFT and WORD format
  • Working knowledge of 700 SWIFT series (799, 760, 700)
  • Working knowledge of UCP and ISP regulations
  • Familiarity with Evergreen LCs and Direct Pay LCs (Monthly Draws)
