Position Overview:
As a Senior AXIOM Developer within our esteemed financial institution, you will be instrumental in refining and sustaining our regulatory reporting framework. AXIOM is a vital component of our operations, ensuring precise and timely submissions to regulatory bodies. You will collaborate with a team of professionals committed to utilizing technology to efficiently fulfill regulatory obligations while maintaining data accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the current environment and provide insights on logic and workflows.
- Design and implement AXIOM-related workflows, incorporating logic and shortcuts to enhance efficiency.
- Engage in positive and regression testing to guarantee effective implementation.
- Investigate and address discrepancies in Regulatory Report outcomes, adapting based on input from Business Analysts.
- Contribute actively in project meetings, sharing insights and influencing decisions.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Developer specializing in AXIOM within the financial services sector.
A solid grasp of financial regulatory reporting standards is essential.
Proficiency in AXIOM Controller View and associated technologies is necessary.
Capability to dissect complex issues and propose creative solutions.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Strong organizational skills and adept time management, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in a relevant area is advantageous.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is preferred.
Knowledge of additional financial regulatory reporting platforms and tools is a plus.
