About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Guardian Flight. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing field maintenance on our aircraft to ensure they are airworthy and meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document field maintenance of aircraft airframe, engines, propellers, and appliances in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance records and associated documents are completed, processed, and filed in accordance with company regulations.
  • Maintain company-owned tools and equipment.
  • Interface with pilots regarding aircraft discrepancies, providing technical knowledge support and assisting with the MEL deferral process.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Control Department for efficient and effective repair of aircraft faults and defects.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks during depot work order events.
  • Travel to field operating bases to provide support for scheduled maintenance events and unscheduled maintenance issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
  • 5 years' experience maintaining turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed wing aircraft.
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and effectively communicate complex technical data and processes associated with aircraft maintenance.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of electrical and avionics systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair any systems faults and defects.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to operating bases as necessary to provide field maintenance support.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in the after-hours maintenance on-call support team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid and current FAA A&P License with Inspection Authorization.
  • 10 years' experience maintaining turboprop and turbine powered aircraft.
  • Completed factory training courses on King Air Series Aircraft.
  • Significant maintenance experience with Beechcraft King Air series turboprop aircraft.
