About the Role:

Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Aviation Technical Services (ATS) is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls. This role requires intermediate knowledge of all aircraft areas and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data.
  • Remove and reinstall interior linings, cargo bay liners, floor panels, galleys, etc.
  • Perform rigging and operational testing of all flight control surfaces, including autopilot.
  • Remove, troubleshoot, and replace landing gear, engines, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Perform heavy sheet metal structural tasks, such as removing, repairing, or replacing floor beams, longerons, bulkheads, stringers, frames, chords, and other primary structural parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a General Mechanic, including experience with cars, boats, helicopters, trains, buses, etc.
  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus.
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience is highly encouraged but not required.

Physical Effort and Dexterity:

The employee will be required to sit, use their hands and arms, talk, and hear, and focus on objects up close. The employee will be required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, and/or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

The full base pay range for this position is $39.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills.
