Virgin Galactic is seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Maintainability (RM&S) Engineer to lead our team in ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our space vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RM&S engineering and be able to perform technical leadership and analysis tasks.
Responsibilities:- Lead the RM&S team in developing and implementing reliability and maintainability strategies
- Perform technical analysis and provide recommendations for improving reliability and maintainability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and process guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure RM&S requirements are met
- Perform reliability and maintainability testing and evaluation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
- 15+ years of experience in RM&S engineering in the aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of reliability and maintainability principles and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Competitive salary range: $163,100.00–$261,000.00
