About the Role
Our Services for Individuals with Disabilities team is on the lookout for compassionate and committed caregivers to fill the role of Nighttime Support Specialist in Des Moines. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with shifts available from 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Weekend availability is required, and there may be opportunities for additional hours as they arise.

Empowering Lives
The individuals we support are striving for greater confidence and independence, and it is our honor to assist them in achieving their goals every day. As a Nighttime Support Specialist, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and mental health needs during the overnight hours.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Offer support and assistance to individuals in their homes during the night.
  • Monitor the well-being of residents while they sleep, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Rest in a designated area of the residence when all individuals are asleep.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED. While experience in Supported Community Living or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, it is not mandatory.
