Job Title: Medical Support Specialist

Adecco USA is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse/LPN/EMT-P to join our team in Des Moines, IA as a Medical Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing donor eligibility, managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess donor eligibility and manage informed consent
  • Provide AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion
  • Conduct medical history interviews and acceptance checks
  • Perform physical examinations and blood testing
  • Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results
  • Assess donor reactions and follow relevant SOPs for medical emergencies
  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues
Requirements:
  • IA RN/LPN or EMT-P license
  • BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric) certification
  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills
