Job Summary

X-ES is seeking a skilled and experienced industrial maintenance leader to oversee and execute maintenance activities at our state-of-the-art office and manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and leadership, with the ability to prioritize and distribute work assignments, troubleshoot complex problems, and manage budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute the preventative maintenance program, including maintenance of laboratory testing machinery, building infrastructure, safety systems, and ancillary production support equipment.
  • Prioritize and distribute work assignments to allocated staff, ensuring proper documentation is recorded in the CMMS.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
  • Coordinate responses to routine and emergency repair requests, manage special projects, and ensure completion of scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Review and recommend maintenance contracts from external contractors.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major PMs.
  • Create purchase order requisitions for repair parts and service labor.
  • Manage applicable budgets for equipment repairs, parts, and supplies effectively.
  • Provide direct supervision to the small maintenance team to achieve established goals, including planning, delegating, coordinating work, completing timesheets, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
  • Minimum of seven (7+) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance are required due to work-related supply pick-ups (mileage is reimbursed).
  • High level of mechanical aptitude with prior knowledge and experience using hand and power tools.
  • Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong initiative and follow through.
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Available to be on-call in case of maintenance emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or an applicable technical field.
  • Prior maintenance supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Experience with cryogenic systems or HVAC servicing equipment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, and more.
