Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to oversee and execute maintenance activities at our state-of-the-art office and manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities, and for leading a small maintenance team to achieve established goals.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Program Execution: Oversee and execute the preventative maintenance program, including maintenance of laboratory testing machinery, building infrastructure, safety systems, and ancillary production support equipment.
- Team Leadership: Provide direct supervision to the maintenance team, including planning, delegating, coordinating work, completing timesheets, and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform a variety of hands-on tasks, including equipment installation, valve repairs, machine servicing, component replacement, wiring repair, general building systems maintenance, and operation of shop machines.
- Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
- Contract Management: Review and recommend maintenance contracts from external contractors, and collaborate with equipment manufacturer representatives to conduct repairs and major PMs.
- Supply Chain Management: Create purchase order requisitions for repair parts and service labor, and manage applicable budgets for equipment repairs, parts, and supplies effectively.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7+) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: High level of mechanical aptitude, prior knowledge and experience using hand and power tools, exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, strong initiative and follow through, computer proficiency, and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Ability to work onsite from our facility located at our state-of-the-art office and manufacturing facility.
- Education: Bachelor or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or an applicable technical field.
- Experience: Prior maintenance supervisory/leadership experience.
- Skills: Experience with cryogenic systems or HVAC servicing equipment, working knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA, and ability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, and more.
