About the Opportunity

In this role, you will work closely with medical and nursing staff to provide pharmaceutical support and education to patients and families. You will also contribute to research studies, quality monitoring, and drug evaluations to enhance pharmaceutical care and clinical results.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense IV solutions and compounded medications, including chemotherapy.
  • Review physician orders for appropriate route, dose, scheduling, and potential drug interactions.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be a graduate of a recognized school of pharmacy, licensed by the State of Alabama, and holder of a Controlled Substances certificate.
