Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Representative to join our team at KMG Hotels. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and register guests, obtain pertinent information, and establish credit prior to assigning rooms.
  • Customer Support: Identify the needs of each guest and provide relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Reservation Management: Take reservations from incoming callers while providing superior service and input all information into the hotel management system. Update and cancel reservations as requested by the guest.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, developing alternative solutions and using reason at all times.
  • Teamwork: Contribute to building a positive team spirit, treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
  • Quality and Quantity: Meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, prioritize and plan work activities, and use time efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, changing approach or method to best fit a situation.
  • Compliance: Responsible for cash drawer content and transactions during shifts, ensuring accuracy of daily deposits and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Hospitality and/or customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines, and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary.
  • Computer skills preferred.
