We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Representative to join our team at KMG Hotels. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet and register guests, obtain pertinent information, and establish credit prior to assigning rooms.
- Customer Support: Identify the needs of each guest and provide relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
- Reservation Management: Take reservations from incoming callers while providing superior service and input all information into the hotel management system. Update and cancel reservations as requested by the guest.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, developing alternative solutions and using reason at all times.
- Teamwork: Contribute to building a positive team spirit, treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
- Quality and Quantity: Meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, prioritize and plan work activities, and use time efficiently.
- Adaptability: Deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, changing approach or method to best fit a situation.
- Compliance: Responsible for cash drawer content and transactions during shifts, ensuring accuracy of daily deposits and maintaining accurate records.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Hospitality and/or customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines, and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary.
- Computer skills preferred.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
