Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Adjunct Instructors in Medical Terminology. This role involves providing instruction in a non-credit capacity, contributing to the educational development of adult learners.

Classification:
Adjunct / Substitute Instructor Pool (non-credit)

Location:
District Wide

Compensation:
Salary placement is determined based on the receipt of official transcripts and verification of prior work experience. Instructors with advanced qualifications may be placed at higher salary steps.

Position Type:
Part-time, Adjunct

Role Responsibilities:
As an Adjunct Instructor, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering curriculum-aligned instruction in both lecture and lab settings.
  • Maintaining professional standards and ethical conduct.
  • Staying updated with current developments in the subject area.
  • Providing support and guidance to students outside of class hours.
  • Keeping accurate records of student progress.
  • Creating an engaging learning environment that fosters open discussion.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must possess degrees from accredited institutions and meet one of the following criteria:
  • A Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant occupational experience; OR
  • An Associate degree with six years of relevant occupational experience; OR
  • A valid California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential in Health Occupations; OR
  • Equivalent qualifications.

Additional Information:
