Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to provide financial support to the Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, disbursement/reimbursement activities, and maintaining electronic and hard copy files and databases.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement activities related to goods, services, and/or equipment as needed.
Disbursement/reimbursement activities as needed.
Maintains electronic and hard copy files and databases. Maintains integrity of information.
Processes equipment service contracts and equipment leases and monitors for timely payment and renewals.
Tracks income and expense items.
Assists with the annual budget process.
Prepares and analyzes routine and ad-hoc financial reports for any discrepancies. Compiles summaries as needed. Escalates said reports or analysis for review if necessary.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Approximately 2 years of related experience
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
